Our Programs
We anticipate our programs launching in 2024-2025.
The Hutchinson Heritage Foundation offers a diverse range of programs, including community service initiatives, mentorship programs, arts and technology initiatives, college grants, and support services, as well as generous holiday giveaways, all designed to empower and uplift our community.
Edisto Kings Mentoring Program
The " Kings Mentorship" program, modeled after 3 Kings of Edisto, is tailored for young Black and Brown boys aged 8-14, offers a vital platform where these young individuals can be heard, providing them with a supportive and nurturing environment to express themselves.
Additionally, this mentorship program helps young Black and Brown boys by:
- Building Self-Esteem: By offering positive role models and constructive guidance, it empowers them to develop a strong sense of self-worth and confidence.
- Developing Life Skills: It equips them with essential life skills, including communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities, setting them on a path to personal growth and success.
- Promoting Academic Excellence: The program encourages and supports their educational pursuits, emphasizing the importance of academic achievement and providing resources to excel in their studies.
Rosa's Roses Mentoring Program
The "Rosa's Roses Mentorship" program, designed for young Black and Brown girls aged 8-16, serves as a nurturing platform where these girls can not only thrive but also feel supported in their personal and academic journeys.
Additionally, this mentorship program helps young Black and Brown girls by:
- Fostering Confidence: By providing positive role models and a supportive network, it helps girls build self-esteem and develop a strong sense of self-worth.
- Encouraging Leadership: The program nurtures leadership skills, empowering girls to take on leadership roles within their communities and schools.
- Promoting Academic Excellence: It emphasizes the importance of education, offering resources and guidance to help girls excel in their studies and pursue their academic goals.
